Introducing Weydown Woodland Wednesdays! 🌿🍂

At Weydown Nursery, our qualified Forest School leader, Esther, delivers engaging Forest School sessions every Wednesday morning for all age groups, with activities carefully tailored to each child’s age and stage of development.

Through hands-on outdoor learning, children build confidence, resilience, independence and a love for nature in a safe, nurturing environment. Activities include:

🔥 Fire pit safety
🏕️ Den building
🍃 Nature crafts, exploration and imaginative woodland play

Our sessions run all year round, encouraging children to explore the changing seasons while learning through adventure, creativity and supported risk taking.

Children who don’t attend on a Wednesday can still enjoy woodland-inspired experiences, as many activities are adapted and brought indoors throughout the week.
